Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has been named the apparent winner in the Democratic Illinois primary race.
The race is currently sitting at 51 percent to 48 percent. The spread is at about 34,000 with 96 percent of precincts reporting as of 11:36 p.m.
On the Republican side, Donald Trump is the winner, garnering 39 percent of the vote with 94 percent of precincts reporting. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is in second place with 31 percent of the vote, followed by Ohio Gov. John Kasich with 20 percent and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubo (R-FL) at 9 percent.
