Workers at the Mitsubishi Motors plant in Normal are set to discuss a tentative contract agreement during a United Auto Workers Local 2488 meeting Monday evening.
The agreement, details of which have not yet been made public, was struck between the union and company last week. Workers could vote on the proposal as soon as Wednesday.
Unionized employees at the plant have been working under an extension of their contract that expired in August. The contract was extended after the company announced over the summer that production at the Normal plant would shut down at the end of November due to sale declines.
