The Active Transportation Alliance has released their voter guide for the Chicago mayoral and aldermanic elections.
"Making our streets safer is a priority for voters in neighborhoods throughout Chicago," said Ron Burke, executive director of the Active Transportation Alliance, a Chicago-based nonprofit. "Candidates should explain their views on critical transportation issues facing our city if they're hoping to lead it."
The group sent questionnaires to the candidates asking about bikeway expansion, participatory budgeting, dedicated pedestrian funding, and a number of other transportation-related issues. See the answers from the mayoral candidates here and the responses of those running for alderman here.
