Illinois is set to see 738 jobs cut from its economy, according to notices sent to the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
More than 500 of the job losses will hit the Chicagoland, including 112 jobs at the Comcast office in Romeoville starting next month. Intuit also plans to cut more than 100 jobs in Arlington Heights starting September 15.
Meanwhile, Kraft Foods will cut 56 jobs in Champaign and in East Moline, more than 130 layoffs are expected at Jacobson Warehouse Co.
