The Chicago Bears owes Cook County $4 million in overdue amusement taxes, according to an Appellate Court ruling.

On Wednesday, the court decided that the franchise owes a 3 percent on the whole face value of a ticket. The sports team's officials argued that they only owed for the portion of the tickets that accounted for seats, and should not be taxed on the part of the costs that paid for the amenities.
