Congressman Rush On Leave Of Absence

U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush (D-IL,1) is on a leave of absence, which began September 12.

Rush is taking time off “to be with his wife Carolyn as she undergoes major surgery,” according to Rush's spokeswoman Debra Johnson. The nature of Carolyn's condition has not been revealed. 

It is not yet known when Rush will return to work.
