Former Dixon Comptroller Will Plead Guilty

Rita Crundwell, former comptroller for the town of Dixon, will plead guilty in federal court tomorrow morning on fraud charges. Crundwell allegedly took $53 million from the Northwest Illinois town's treasury for her personal use, including the maintenance of a horse-breeding operation. Federal authorities have already auctioned off 400 of her horses.

Crundwell, who also faces state charges, was previously expected to plead innocent.
