Is GOP gubernatorial candidate Bill Brady embarrassed by his record as a legislator? Just this week, Brady's campaign staff scrubbed his own Wikipedia entry because they said it "misrepresented him." In fact, they replaced factual policy positions (that he wants to cut the State Board of Education in half, teach Intelligent Design in schools, and discriminate against the LGBT community) with a series of canned (and uncontroversial) talking points. Rebecca Mastey saved both versions here.
The Quinn campaign offered Rich Miller a good response. "If Bill Brady doesn’t think his record is too extreme then why did he erase it….?" For more on that radical agenda, check out our February primer.
