In an appearance in Chicago, Illinois native and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton implied that Gov. Pat Quinn likely dodged a bullet when Bill Daley pulled out of the governor's race. Daley worked in the Clinton administration as the Secretary of Commerce.
“He’s just been entered into the Guinness World Records Book as luckiest politician,” Clinton said at a charity luncheon, according to NBC Chicago.
Clinton also shied away from any discussion of whether she will run for president in 2016, saying “it’s time to support the president.”
Noting that it is time to focus on the many serious issues facing the country, Clinton said, “It’s like when you’re at a party and you find somebody else more interesting ... we can't afford to do that.”
