Republican candidate for Illinois governor Bruce Rauner has launched two TV ads, which have began running across the state.
The ads focus on Illinois' unemployment rate, taxes, state spending and job creation. Take a look:
The millionaire venture capitalist announced his run for governor last week and went after labor leaders in announcing his candidacy, blaming them for the state's financial woes. Rauner appears to be set to run on a platform that includes union bashing as seen in his video announcing his candidacy and one of the ads posted above. Despite the fact that Rauner says unions are partly to blame for the state's problems, he contends that he is not anti-union.
