House Speaker Michael Madigan has called for a “weekly order of business" (PDF) for Tuesday, February 26 on gun legislation, according to Capitol Fax. In layman’s terms, Madigan has called a meeting for the members of the Illinois House of Representatives to consider a specific measure of legislation.

The legislation to be discussed will be “concerning gun safety and unlawful use of weapons.”

According to Madigan, the legislative measures that will be considered "include HB1155 and any amendments to HB1155."

Concealed carry will be included in the proposal.
