Former U.S. Rep. Joe Walsh is reportedly in talks with WIND for a radio talk show. The one-term Tea Partier was unseated by now-U.S. Rep. Tammy Duckworth (8th) last November.
Walsh is nationally known for his polarizing rhetoric and confirmed to the Daily Herald that the conservative radio station has voiced interest in having him as a regular on WIND. Earlier this week, he subbed for John Howell on the Big John & Amy show. If Walsh's show is successful, it could be nationally syndicated. Other WIND personalities include Michael Medved and Glenn Beck.
Walsh also says he has been approached to run for U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin's seat in 2014.
