A new poll by House Majority PAC, a Super Political Action Committee that gives money to Democratic candidates, finds Democratic challenger Bill Foster ahead of U.S. Rep. Judy Biggert (R-Hinsdale) 49 percent to 45 percent in Illinois' 11th congressional district race. A statement from Foster's campaign notes that the Naperville resident enjoys a 10-point lead among self-identified independents in the poll.

Most recent polls have shown the Foster-Biggert race to be a dead heat.
