Multiple sources report that President Barack Obama's campaign is looking to hold his election night event at Chicago's McCormick Place, a convention center just south of the city's downtown area.

The indoor event would contrast with the Grant Park rally Obama held on election night in 2008. The president is reportedly not trying to recreate the massive 2008 event, partly due to security concerns.
