Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis indicated that the teachers strike will continue into this week with no class Monday and Tuesday. But Chicago Public School students could return to class Wednesday as the CTU House of Delegates may approve a tentative contract Tuesday.
The conventional wisdom was that the House of Delegates would approve the tentative contract today. But, according to the Chicago Tribune, delegates wanted more time to look at the plan. PI looked earlier today at parts of the tentative contract, as presented in a CTU news release.
