Latino voters are more enthused to vote for Barack Obama in this year's presidential election than they were in 2008, accord to a poll completed Thursday by Latino Decisions. The poll surveyed voters from five states including Florida, Colorado, and Nevada, states where the results between Obama and presumed Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney are expected to be close.
Previous polls showed that Latino voters based their decision more on economic and education issues, than immigration policy. Still, the poll shows that Obama's decision last Friday to give many under-30 undocumented immigrants a reprieve from deportation has helped his standing.
