This morning's Cook County Board meeting will be the first one to be live-streamed on the Web at cookcountyil.gov/secretaryoftheboard. Full board meetings, which typically happen once or twice each month, and committee meetings will be streamed, reports the Sun-Times. Cook County forest preserve board will be live-streamed as well.

The Chicago City Council has streamed its meetings since 2007, but the city does not stream its committee meetings.
