Early voting for the March 20 Illinois primary ends tomorrow. Thursday is also the deadlne for the Cook County Clerk's office to receive mail ballot applications, Clerk David Orr said today. While overall voter registration is down, early voting is projected to surpass the number of early ballots turned in before the 2010 primary.

Any Illinois resident aged 18 and over can participate in early voting. You do not need an excuse to participate in early voting.
