Scandaled former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich will make a public statement in front of TV cameras this evening, his last night as a free man for the next several years. Blagojevich will speak at exactly 5:02 p.m. to allow for broadcast news outlets to lead into his statement, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The 55 year-old former governor will head to a Colorado prison tomorrow to begin serving a 14-year sentence on federal corruption charges.
