RTA To Spend $425,000 Lobbying Against House Transportation Bill

As we reported yesterday, there is much opposition to the House transportation bill. The Regional Transportation Authority is also concerned, approving hundreds of thousands to spend in lobbying against the bill.

The transportation agency voted yesterday to spend $425,000 to contract lobbyists to go up against the controversial bill that could result in the loss of millions of dollars in funding for local transit and related projects.
