Mayor Rahm Emanuel's education team is looking to cut the number of police officers stationed at about a hundred high schools in the Chicago Public Schools system. This comes after the Chicago Police Department tripled their bill from the former $8 million a year to the new $25 million per year charge. Emanuel also publicly questioned the cost-effectiveness of the officers.
