Former Chicago Ald. Edward "Fast Eddie" Vrdolyak reported to a federal prison this morning to begin serving his 10 month sentence for mail fraud in a $1.5 million kickback scheme he made for himself in a real-estate deal. Vrdolyak was also fined $250,000 in his sentence. Vrdolyak will serve his sentence in Terre Haute, Indiana, in the same prison that houses former Gov. George Ryan.
