A man recently indicted by federal authorities for drug trafficking has long ties to two powerful Chicago aldermen. The Chicago Sun-Times reported that Saul Rodriguez, who was charged in 2009, once requested and was awarded, a zoning change to build condos in Ald. Edward Burke's 14th Ward. To build the condos, Rodriguez hired Barbaro Contruction, a company with ties to Burke and then Ald. William Banks (36th Ward).
