State Rep. Edward Acevedo (D-Chicago), the assistant minority leader in the House, had a gun pointed at him this weekend. The incident occurred Friday evening on Chicago's Lower West Side. No shots were fired and the van, which carried a person who pointed the gun at Acevedo, sped away after the state representative stated his position in the General Assembly. No arrests have been made.
