A new poll sponsored by the Chicago Retail Merchants Association shows former White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel with a huge early lead over the rest of the field. The poll, which was conducted by We Ask America on November 21, showed Emanuel with support from 39 percent of those polled. Former U.S. Senator Carol Moseley Braun was second in the survey with 12 percent and former City Colleges Chairman Gery Chico was in third with 8 percent. Eighteen percent of those polled said they were undecided.
