White House Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett is not considering a mayoral bid, according to the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet.

Meanwhile, State Sen. Kwame Raoul (D-Chicago) has announced that he is not going to run for mayor, either. He told the Chicago News Cooperative that he wasn't sure he could raise enough money to mount a serious campaign.
