At Rod Blagojevich's corruption trial today, the jury heard a wiretapped conversation from election night 2008 in which the then-governor trashed the people of Illinois. Blagojevich also speculated that former deputy governor Doug Scofield had "ulterior motives" when he advised Blagojevich against appointing himself to the soon-to-be-vacated Senate seat.
