A new internal campaign poll taken by Alexi Giannoulias shows that the Democratic Senate candidate has gained back some ground on Rep. Mark Kirk following the failure of his family's bank. According to a poll of 600 likely voters taken last week, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research found the race tied at 44-44 percent. The latest independent poll showed Kirk with a three-point lead. An internal poll conducted by the same firm in February gave Giannoulias a four-point advantage.
