Today, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin blasted the Community Bankers of America for opposing his amendment to the financial regulation bill that would rein in the "interchange" fees charged by credit card companies. They "don't come to their opposition with clean hands," Durbin said. "They are completely in the thrall of the American Bankers Association and the credit card companies."
