Ameren is going back to the Illinois Commerce Commission in an attempt to nab more than $50 million in gas and electricity delivery rate charges that were denied by the regulators two weeks ago. The utility company says it needs to raise revenue to cover depreciation, employee pensions, and other expenses. The ICC will consider the request on May 25.
