Although Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown has ended her controversial "Jeans Day" fundraisers, in which she collected money from employees in exchange for the privilege of wearing jeans to work, the county's inspector general has confirmed that his office has launched a probe of the program. Brown canceled "Jeans Day" while a primary candidate for Cook County board president after staff members complained to the media that they did not know where the money was going.
