In response to a public request by Rod Blagojevich, U.S. District Judge James Zagel has informed the former governor's defense team that he won’t have jurors listen to all of the secret FBI wiretaps collected by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. It's the judge's decision how much footage to air, Zagel reminded Blagojevich at a hearing today. "I will not," he affirmed, "have the time of these jurors needlessly consumed." Zagel also ruled that the Blagojevich brothers will have to face their corruption trial together.
