On a radio show last Sunday, Democratic Cook County board president nominee Toni Preckwinkle announced that she will not be supporting Forrest Claypool's independent bid for Cook County assessor.  Preckwinkle instead affirmed her support for Democratic nominee Joseph Barrios. Claypool is currently working to collect the 25,000 signatures necessary to get on the ballot in November.
