Drivers in Illinois may be able to avoid their next red light camera ticket, or at least pay a cheaper fine, based on legislation passed by the Illinois Senate Thursday. Under the measure, drivers will be able to appeal tickets without a fee. Also, communities would be forced to disclose where the cameras are located. The measure now moves on to the House for consideration.
