Mayor Richard Daley called out Gov. Pat Quinn today for purportedly going back on a pre-election pledge not to cut back income tax revenue the state shares with municipalities. Over the weekend, Quinn's budget director David Vaught noted that municipalities across Illinois would have to “share the pain” of the state's budget crisis by giving up a combined $300 million of the tax revenue.
