Republican House Minority Leader Tom Cross made no indication yesterday that his caucus is ready to vote for an income tax increase this spring. Until the legislature embraces a series of economic policies put forth by the Illinois Policy Institute -- requiring a supermajority to approve a tax hikes, making it harder for legislative leaders to bottle up bills -- "we're not going to have any discussion about revenue," Cross said at a Springfield press conference.
