Republican gubernatorial candidate Jim Ryan wants to privatize the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, a proposal panned by fellow Republican candidates. According to a new Tribune/WGN-TV poll, Illinoisans aren't too fond of the idea either. Worried that a private company would eventually raise toll rates, 72 percent of likely Democratic voters and 65 percent of likely Republican voters opposed the idea outright.
