"The People's Choice"

Back in December, when he endorsed Dorothy Brown for Cook County board president, Rep. Danny Davis cited her lead in a Tribune poll as the driving factor behind his decision. He called her "the people's choice" and even said he would have endorsed another candidate if they had been in the lead.

What Could Have Been ...

Check out this mini-documentary from GOOD on the innovative parking meter technology being tested by the city of San Francisco.  As you can see, the emphasis is on efficient management of congestion and traffic -- rather than simply growing the bottom line. Too bad Chicago has to wait 74 more years to explore such possibilities.
