Blago Seeks Shelter Elsewhere (And On WLS)

Following the news that the jury hearing his case was deadlocked on 23 of the 24 counts against him (and found him guilty on the 24th), former Gov. Rod Blagojevich jumped a plane to New York City last week where he was interviewed by both NBC's Today and ABC News.  Over the weekend, he also appeared as a guest on Fox News Sunday.  And tonight, he is scheduled for The Daily Show.

The only local news outlet that appears to have snagged an interview with him: WLS Radio's Don Wade & Roma, who have a long history of hosting softball interviews with Blago.

Thankfully, the Tribune has been watching his media appearances carefully, even fact-checking several of his statements (which goes to show why Blagojevich is avoiding local reporters).
