Last night on WTTW, Scott Lee Cohen said he had no intention of withdrawing as the Democratic lieutenant governor candidate, but added: "If the people of Illinois decided they don't want me as their
lieutenant governor, I would consider [withdrawing from the race] at
that point." It's not clear what would constitute such a decision, but some folks are trying to get their message across on Facebook. Yesterday, the group "Scott Lee Cohen Should Step Aside" surfaced and has now amassed a few hundred members. The group's creator is urging them to send the Cohen campaign an individual message "asking him to resign his nomination."
