A Look At Occupy Chicago's New Office Space

A movement that began in the streets has graduated to 5,500 feet of Pilsen loft space.

This past week, Occupy Chicago officially moved into its new home off Cermak Road, just south of the loop. The organization will now legally occupy two units of converted loft space, which include bathrooms and kitchens as well as stunning views of the surrounding industrial corridor.

Southside Organization Gives “Occupy” New Meaning

Liberate the Southside – an ad-hoc group of Chicago clergymen, community organizers, and local residents – do not believe the “Occupy” movement should be limited to geographic locations like streets and cities.

Op-Ed: Passage Of CME Tax Break Fuels Growing Income Inequality, Ignores Voice Of The 99%

He believed that he could keep his Congressional seat because 8th district voters will join him in the fight to shrink government.

As Illinoisans Take Back The Capitol, Politicians Run And Hide (VIDEO)

While most of Illinois was taking in the 14-year prison sentence of disgraced former governor Rod Blagojevich, hundreds of other state residents were at the nation's capitol yesterday calling on legislators to stop favoring corporations and start working for the benefit of the people who elected them into office.
