Some Updated Fundraising Numbers

This morning, we updated our Democratic state candidate fundraising spreadsheet, adding in contributions (over $500 dollars) made since Friday. Pat Quinn is the biggest gainer, netting $100,000 from both former Senate President Emil Jones and Ald. Ed Burke. (Dan Hynes raised $167,404.) Toni Preckwinkle's SEIU Illinois endorsement paid immediate dividends; the union tossed in $150,000 to support her Cook County board candidacy. Organized labor is also doubling-down on Democratic treasurer candidate David Miller, who raised over $225,000 since Friday. Finally, self-funder Scott Lee Cohen chipped in another $230,000 of his own scratch (after already giving his campaign $1.3 million). Someone really wants to be lieutenant governor.
