Residents on Chicago's West Side are pushing back against plans by the United States Postal Service to close three post offices in the area. They say low-income communities are "bear[ing] the brunt" of the facility closings USPS claims are necessary for financial stability.
But West Side residents say the closings are coming too fast and with little opportunity for community input; prompting them to take action tomorrow morning at one post office on the endangered list.
