Rep. Mark Kirk may be getting pressure from his right on climate change, but organizations on the left are targeting the U.S. Senate candidate for his position on health care reform. In a joint campaign between Illinois Health Care for America Now (HCAN IL) and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the groups are putting out a new TV ad that shows the North Shore Republican standing in the way of reform while taking $1.5 million in contributions from the insurance industry.
