Bill Maher Takes Aim At Shimkus

It had to happen.  After making the rounds on the national blogs and MSNBC this week, Rep. John Shimkus' (R-IL) recent climate change remarks came up during HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher last night.  Maher -- whose highly skeptical view of religion is well-documented -- called the downstate Republican "ignorant" and my friend Reihan Salam (an Atlantic associate editor and a conservative) described him as a "nut."
