Shimkus' Climate Change Nonsense Lives On

Today is President Obama's 100th day in office and to mark the occasion Think Progress compiled "a video report on the radical right's 100 days of opposition."  Well, look who makes a cameo on Day 65:

Media Matters' video recapping of the "100 Days of 'Fair and Balanced'" is also worth a watch.

UPDATE: On a related note, Newsweek's Dignity Index described Shimkus as "truly undignified" for his assertion last week that cap-and-trade legislation "is the largest assault on democracy and freedom in this country that I’ve ever experienced."

Got to love that the republicans are so outrageous in their challenging of policies, I mean teabagging, really? Saw a different view of how Obama's first 100 Days went, http://www.newsy.com/videos/the_first_100_days/

Shimkus and his pals flunked grade school science. We know this. How the man ever conned West Point into accepting him is beyond anyone's comprehension. None of them watched Apollo 13. That is obvious:

EECOM: Gene. We have a situation brewing with the carbon dioxide.
TELMU: We have a CO2 filter problem in the Lunar Module.
EECOM: Five filters on the LM.
TELMU: Which were meant for two guys for a day and a half.
EECOM: That's what I told the Doc.
DR. CHUCK: They're already up to eight on the gauges, anything over 15 and you get impaired judgment, blackouts, the beginnings of brain asphyxia.

Maybe IL-19 voters should start sending copies of the DVD to his congressional office. They could include the instructions for making personal carbon dioxide (CO2) scrubbers. He can share with his needy pals.

Not that I am suggesting CO2 is poisonous or anything. Rep. Boehner says that is laughable. Is he not credible??? Impaired judgment -- Brain asphyxia. Never mind. Gotta blackout coming on. Good news: I can pass a blood alcohol test! Shimkus might be on to something after all!
