Clues Obama Won't Govern Center-Right
Concerned that Obama's cabinet appointments foreshadow a subtle desire to govern from the center-right? Illinois-based political consultant and friend of the site Robert Creamer says that progressives need not fear. "Obama ran a campaign," he writes, "that clearly and unequivocally described priorities that will turn American [sic] in a fundamentally progressive direction."
Fact Checking We The People's Ad
Robert L. Schulz, head of the anti-tax activist foundation We The People, took out expensive, full-page ads in the Chicago Tribune both Monday and today raising questions about whether Barack Obama's Hawaii birth certificate is authentic. The Trib's own Sara Olkon and James Janega fact check the spot, proving Schulz might have wasted a pretty penny.
