Yesterday, John McCain couldn't find "Joe the Plumber" in an audience in Ohio. This morning, the GOP nominee couldn't seem to get him out of his head.
Case in point: watch McCain refer to the Democratic vice presidential candidate as "Joe The Biden":
Did I hear a "Sen. O'Biden" in there as well?

I'd rather put my faith in an individual who shows alot more clarity in thinking and rational judgment and does not react impulsively in a confrontational manner. You sir, are dangerous to peace loving people and an embarrassment to both yourself and critically thinking Americans...Go home to AZ and retire in peace...

I am a McCain supporter, but I do believe at this present time, I will be voting for Barack Obama. I really hate to admit it, but Obama seems to be the more steady candidate. I have tried to hold my allegiance to Senator McCain, but using good common pragmatic sense, I CAN'T.

Great! Wise choice. Obama is the stronger leader and acted steady and mature through out this election. McCain unfortunately has resorted to name calling. I remember thos bullies in school who were jealous of other people and had nothing to offer except for name calling. You know who won in the end? It wasn't the bully. Way to go Obama!!! Let's sprint to the finish line and leave McCain behind wishing he had campaigned on the issues and solutions.

It's good to hear and I thank you for it.
I do know how difficult voting for the opposing party can be at times as I have done the same when times deserved it. I think you made the right decision.

I just don't think McCain is mentally alert enough to handle the presidency. Who would this leave?? Sarah O'Palin.......I just don't want her anywhere near the BIG RED button!

The enemy sure do know you McCain,Al Queda says that they endorse McCain for President,
Becouse they Know that he will keep the fight on so that they can kill al America(McCain says he is OK with 100 years in Irak).
That ``thing`` that people call McCain have the same ill that late Reagan had.

Again with the "I was tested in the Cuban Missile Crisis" !!!
He was stationed in the area and was a pilot. The pilot FOLLOWS orders, he doesn't use JUDGEMENT or MAKE THE DECISIONS !!!
He once again confuses BEING THERE for DOING SOMETHING!!!

I'm more than worried for his health, he is showing more and more signs of pre-seizure/attack symptoms. I've always liked John McCain and even can forgive him for some of his negative unwarranted attacks, but this means that if by some chance he were elected, Mrs. Palin would be our sitting President. Of this, all of us should be very concerned.

If you catch a glimpse of the bald spot on the back of his head in photos, you can see what appear to be lesions of some sort there. This is terrifying to me as a Melanoma survivor myself.

How has he really been "tested"? As a crewman on a carrier a long time ago? Please. John, you've never been tested as commander in chief. You've been a legislator your entire career, just like Obama. Stop the BS.
Anonymous (not verified) on Sat, 11/01/2008 - 16:22
Spot on. I've been wondering why none of the news anchors have raised this point..

Here's the deal...the Cuban Missile crisis was averted! Kennedy didn't blink and won the test...just as Obama will.
McCain probably would have started a nuclear war with his impulsiveness!
And Sarah Palin is just the most frightening politcian maybe ever!

Maybe Sarah and John should be looking for "Joe the Vogler - Founder of the Alaskian Independence Party" to share the views that his members. and former members...(Todd Palin ) believe. Oh and whom the Gov. of Alaska, Sarah Palin praised for their work
Joe Vogler - "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions
Sarah Palin, Palling around and Marrying former unrepentive separatist Todd Palin

Joe the Biden?
Perhaps we should use "McCain the John" due to his crappy campaign tactics which appears to be heading in the toilet.
Marc (not verified) on Fri, 10/31/2008 - 12:14
Wow. That's pretty weak. I think the poor old man needs some rest, all this stumping can't be good for his health. You gave it a shot, John, it just wasn't in the cards.
Paul (not verified) on Fri, 10/31/2008 - 13:23
Joe the Biden? Heh, I kind of like that actually. Sure beats letting a Joe Sixpack or a Joe the Plumber type within spitting distance of the presidency.
That One/The Biden 2008 :)
Anonymous (not verified) on Fri, 10/31/2008 - 13:33
Everything about him makes him seem... well lets just say less than mentally as clear and sharp as one would hope.
And I would really like to know how he has been tested on the international scene?
M Tobias (not verified) on Sat, 11/01/2008 - 06:03
Is Joe the Biden one of his fellow prisoners?
Osei Bonsu Dickson (not verified) on Sat, 11/01/2008 - 14:37
"Joe the Biden"? Well this is horrible, maybe terrible! It just reveals that in the heat of political storms Sen. McCain will go nuts, over mamy, many things. He will be part of the storm itself. This is simply not his year, no it is Sen Obama's.

He did it again today (Saturday) at a rally televised on MSNBC.

i think that is hilarious!! i have so much enjoyed all the candidates strange gaffs! i think they have done very well considering the tireless, constant work they have been doing in this election year. im exhausted after a 9 hour work day and ignore my cell phone ringing the rest of the day! so i can't imagine having to speak and talk and schmooze as much as these 4 people have for this long. whatever the outcome it has been an entertaining election and the strength all 4 have shown is remarkable.

I am embarrassed to admit that I used to respect McCain and believe in his ability to rise above partisan fray. His gimmicks ("I am stopping my campaign to fix the economy"), his stunts ("Sara Palin is the most qualified VP I could have chosen") are sure signs of senility setting in. His inability to speak coherently on economy, or saying that "I have been tested, because I was sitting in a cockpit when Kennedy was being tested" are sure signs that he still does not understand what it means to be tested. Sorry, John, you should sit in your AZ adobe and watch the sun setting permanently on your one-time illustrious career.
